I don't know, there is just a part of me that loves science fiction ebooks. Maybe it's watching old Star Trek episodes where I see James T. Kirk holding what is essentially a flip phone or Jean-Luc Picard watching ship details on his iPad. The electronic version of books lends itself well to science fiction, which usually has outlandishly cool and, most times, theoretically possible technology.
There is a part of me that believes most readers of fantasy are traditional, page and ink type readers. They love the smell of a book, of holding a book, and the sound that comes with settling a turned page against its previous. Ahh, but ebooks? They are the province of science fiction readers.
Today, Spectra released the last three ebooks in what is arguably the best science fiction series ever—the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov!
